Dream points to significance of 2018 Passover

On the morning of February 8th, i had a short dream in which i saw the word Passover written across my field of view. When  awoke, I wondered what God could have been trying to communicate so i started by looking up the date of Passover this year on the Jewish calendar. I found that it was going to be on the 30th of March.

Passover is a Jewish festival that celebrates the deliverance of Israel from Egypt after many years of slavery there. After Joseph and his family moved to Egypt, Israel grew into a large community there that eventually threatened the Egyptians who turned against them and enslaved them. God rose up Moses to engage Pharaoh to release his people but Pharaoh refused even after God sent 9 plagues that had incremental intensity. Finally God sent the 10^th and final plague which was the death of every first born in Egypt. This happened at the stroke of midnight of Nisan 15 on the Jewish calendar. In order for the angel of death not to harm the Israelites, God instructed them through Moses to put lambs blood on their doorposts. When the angel came and saw this blood, he “passed over” these homes without causing harm. After this final devastating plague, the Pharaoh threw Israel out of Egypt. (Exodus chapters 1-12)

Jesus also was crucified during Passover and so this festival also is significant to Christians because through Christs shed blood, God “passes over” us and spares us from his judgment for our sins. You qualify for this exemption after making Jesus your personal Lord and Saviour. Passover is therefore a season of celebrating Gods mercy and grace over mankind through Christ.

God led me to look for links between past significant dates and March 30th and i found out the following links:

• There are 120 days from November 30th to March 30th.
• There are 50 days from February 8th to March 30th.

What is the significance of these two days?

November 30th is the day on which there was a record breaking rainbow that appeared in Taiwan last year. In a previous post, we discussed how this seemed to be a sign linked to Jerusalem. A Rainbow is linked to Gods mercy and grace towards man.

And God said, “This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come:  I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds,  I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.” Genesis 9:12-16 (New International Version)

The number 120 is linked to Gods patience with man. However the number 120 in scripture was also used to show that Gods patience has a limit.

 Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not contend with humans forever, for they are mortal; their days will be a hundred and twenty years.” Genesis 6:3 (New International Version)

February 8th is the day i had the dream and i found it interesting that 50 is the number linked to the year of Jubilee, which is the year when debts were cancelled and slaves are set free in Israel.

 Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; each of you is to return to your family property and to your own clan. The fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; do not sow and do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the untended vines. For it is a jubilee and is to be holy for you; eat only what is taken directly from the fields. In this Year of Jubilee everyone is to return to their own property. Leviticus 25:10-13 (New International Version)

When we multiply the two numbers 120 and 50, we get 6000.

120×50=6000

Many bible scholars believe that the world is nearing 6000 years based on calculations from genealogies in in the bible. Revelation 20 tells us that Christ will rule for 1000 years, making a total  of 7000 years of God dealing with sin. God created the world in 6 days and rested on the 7th. According to 2 Peter 3:8, With the Lord a day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like a day. This makes the 1000 years of Christ rule equivalent to  the day of Gods rest. Hebrews 4:9-11 says,

There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God;  for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works, just as God did from his.  Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.

This therefore makes the 6000 years of man to be the limit of Gods patience with mans destructive ways just like the 120 were in the days of Noah. Is God therefore sending another subtle warning through these connections that the time of His grace is quickly coming to an end? Will this years Passover have something to do with this? This is something serious that we all need to pray about for increased understanding and to watch for. Lets all do Gods work to the best of our abilities for the maximum results in the short time left, so that we can obtain the rewards God has prepared.
