About two weeks back, the Russia Today website reported about an abnormal behavior of the Google Translate service that had been observed by several people and had apparently gone viral. In the story, it was claimed that when you typed the word “dog” several times in the tool and requested it to translate this from either Maori, Yuasa or Yoruba to English, an ominous warning showed up in the tools output. The message read as follows,
“Doomsday Clock is three minutes at twelve We are experiencing characters and a dramatic developments in the world, which indicate that we are increasingly approaching the end times and Jesus’ return,”
Its also interesting that the word “dog” is “god” in reverse. I tried this myself on the 23rd of July using my phone I got the same output as the article had claimed.
Google translate uses Artificial Intelligence (AI) to perform its translation function. This is the explanation an expert had about this anomaly,
The glitch is most likely due to a change made by Google Translate years ago when it started using a technique known as “neural machine translation,”according to Harvard University professor Alexander Rush, who spoke to Motherboard. Rush says the system can “hallucinate” when fed gibberish, and thus create strange results.
What is fascinating about this is that events have occurred in the last 70 years that show that the return of Jesus is just around the corner, just like the Google Translate AI has “prophesied”. Some of the major developments in this time span are presented below which are direct fulfillments of Gods Word for the end times;
The re-establishment of the nation of Israel
This is significant because all end time bible prophecy is centered on the nation of Israel which until 1948 did not exist! One such prophecy is the defilement of the Jewish temple by the antichrist. The Temple is yet to be built. Daniel 9:27 says,
He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven’. In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple, he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him.
Israel restored as one nation
During the time after Solomon’s death, Israel was divided into the Northern and Southern Kingdoms. However Ezekiel prophesied that Israel would be restored as one nation under one ruler. Israel is currently a single nation once again under one leader. This is in preparation of David’s restoration as King in Christ’s Millennial Kingdom after his future resurrection. Ezekiel 37:22-27 says
I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel. There will be one king over all of them and they will never again be two nations or be divided into two kingdoms. They will no longer defile themselves with their idols and vile images or with any of their offenses, for I will save them from all their sinful backsliding, and I will cleanse them. They will be my people, and I will be their God. “‘My servant David will be king over them, and they will all have one shepherd. They will follow my laws and be careful to keep my decrees.
Restoration of Hebrew as a language
After the destruction of the temple in 70 AD by the Romans, the Jews started dispersing around the world and gradually stopped using the Hebrew language. Hebrew became confined to the synagogues where it was used for Torah readings. By the beginning of the 20th Century, most Jews could not understand the Torah readings. For them, it was like a gentile experiencing a Catholic mass conducted in Latin. However Hebrew was miraculously restored through the work of a man named Eliezer Ben-Yehuda from the 1880’s to 1922. His son became the first native speaker of Modern Hebrew as a mother tongue. It was a dead language that has been restored to full use in everyday life in Israel. This partially fulfilled the scripture in Zephaniah 3:8-9 which says,
“Just you wait!” declares the Lord. “The day will come when I stand up as a prosecutor, for I am determined to assemble the nations and to gather the kingdoms, in order to pour out my indignation upon them— all of my fierce anger. All the earth will be consumed by the fire of my jealousy. Indeed, then I will return my people to a pure language so that they all may call upon the name of the Lord, serving him with a united will.
Destruction of Damascus
Another prophecy of the last days that we are seeing occurring in real time is that of the complete destruction of Damascus. Although this has not yet been fully realized, we see that this is in the process of being fulfilled since the Syrian war started in 2011. See drone footage below from the Russia Today YouTube channel showing destruction in Jobar, Damascus posted on December 2015. The video is about 12 minutes long.
See, Damascus will no longer be a city but will become a heap of ruins. Isaiah 17:1
Nations coming against Israel
One example of this is when on December 23rd, 2016 the United Nations Security Council adopted resolution 2334 which declared all Israeli settlements in the West Bank to be illegal and it officially gave East Jerusalem to the Palestinians. United States President Obama could have blocked this resolution from being passed by the UN, but didn’t. Also late last year, the United Nations General Assembly voted for a resolution demanding that the United States rescind its declaration of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. These were partial fulfillment’s of Zechariah 12:3 which warns
On that day, when all the nations of the earth gather against her, I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples; all who would heave it away will be severely injured
Also note that this scriptures fulfillment’s would not even be possible without the existence of Israel!
Dramatic events ushering in the return of Jesus have been occurring at an accelerated pace for the last 70 years centering on the nation of Israel. Was the Google Translate prophecy one of God’s last ditch attempts to draw the worlds attention to how soon judgement would be coming?
The Lord is not slow about his promise, as some people understand slowness, but is being patient with you. He does not want anyone to perish, but everyone to find room for repentance. 2 Peter 3:9
