My dream about God’s wrath and a red dragon!

On the morning of the 22^nd of January at around 4 am, I had a terrifying dream! I was in my home town which is quite hilly and borders another nation. Suddenly I saw huge fireballs hitting the largest hill which was so big, it also looked like a mountain. The fireballs were coming from the neighboring country. I initially thought it was artillery fire from this country and that we were at war with it. The number and intensity of fireballs hitting the mountain started to increase. What was fascinating was that as the fireballs increased, they started crushing and burning huge stones and breaking down parts of the mountain to the same level as the valley beside it! The fire was doing this with ease and great power, and in the process, the soil and vegetation was also being burnt up! Every time a fireball would strike the mountain, there were monsters that would come out of the mountain and ran away! The last creature I saw exit the mountain and ran away from the fire strikes was a red dragon!

I called my sisters to show them what was happening to the mountain which was far from my home. As I pointed to the mountain and what was happening there, I told my sisters that it’s the end of the world! Since the fires intensity was very high, the knuckles of my hands started to burn and I had to withdraw my hand and woke up screaming, “The world has come to an end!” I got out of bed and repented.

Interpretation

This dream has several elements that are linked to key end time aspects that God wants us to pay attention to.

The Fire

The bible links fire with Gods judgment. In Genesis 19:24, God rained upon Sodom and Gomorrah brimstone and fire for the sin of sexual immorality and perversion. We see the same sins being glorified today by the world showing how depraved the world has become. Just like the fire balls kept increasing in frequency and intensity, Gods judgments are going to increase in frequency and intensity in response to the rise in wickedness that we are seeing.

We have already witnessed Gods judgments through record breaking heat waves, locust invasions in some parts of the world and the Coronavirus pandemic. These followed the pattern in 2 Chronicles 7:13-14 which says

 When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people, if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.

Despite this warning from the Lord for the last two years, people have generally still not repented from wickedness.

The War

In the dream, I thought that war had broken out between my nation and the neighboring one. Ezekiel 38 and 39 mentions a war that will break out between Israel and a coalition of nations led by Russia and Iran. Close study of this war shows that it will happen around the start of the 7 year tribulation. In this war, God specifically mentions that He will defeat these nations on the mountains of Israel partly by reigning burning sulphur on them! Not only that, part of the language he uses is similar to what is portrayed in the dream!

The mountains will be overturned, the cliffs will crumble and every wall will fall to the ground.  I will summon a sword against Gog on all my mountains, declares the Sovereign Lord. Every man’s sword will be against his brother.  I will execute judgment on him with plague and bloodshed; I will pour down torrents of rain, hailstones and burning sulfur on him and on his troops and on the many nations with him.  And so I will show my greatness and my holiness, and I will make myself known in the sight of many nations. Then they will know that I am the Lord.’

Ezekiel 38:20-23

Since many signs are pointing to the nearness of the tribulation, this war is also eminent. This is further confirmed by the current heightened tensions between Israel and Iran due to the latters nuclear ambitions. Are we about to witness the War of Gog and Magog?

The Red Dragon and Monsters

The only scripture that mentions a red dragon is Revelation 12. This chapter also mentions a war that will happen in the heavens where satan, also referred to as the dragon will be kicked out of heaven along with his angels. They will be cast down to the earth.

Then war broke out in heaven. Michael and his angels fought against the dragon, and the dragon and his angels fought back. But he was not strong enough, and they lost their place in heaven. The great dragon was hurled down—that ancient serpent called the devil, or Satan, who leads the whole world astray. He was hurled to the earth, and his angels with him.

Revelation 12:7-9

This is a form of judgment to satan and his angels who will no longer have access to heaven afterwards. It will also be a judgment to the inhabitants of the earth because satan and his minions will then be free to oppress them unchecked!

But woe to the earth and the sea, because the devil has gone down to you! He is filled with fury, because he knows that his time is short.

Revelations 12:12

Satan will then severely oppresses Israel through the beast, also known as the antichrist. This will be a world leader who will mediate peace between Israel and her enemies, possibly as a result of the war of Gog and Magog. Later on, the antichrist empowered by satan will somehow break this treaty and greatly persecute the Jews and Christians for 1260 days which are 3 and 1/2 years.

When the dragon saw that he had been hurled to the earth, he pursued the woman who had given birth to the male child. The woman was given the two wings of a great eagle, so that she might fly to the place prepared for her in the wilderness, where she would be taken care of for a time, times and half a time, out of the serpent’s reach. Then from his mouth the serpent spewed water like a river, to overtake the woman and sweep her away with the torrent.  But the earth helped the woman by opening its mouth and swallowing the river that the dragon had spewed out of his mouth.  Then the dragon was enraged at the woman and went off to wage war against the rest of her offspring—those who keep God’s commands and hold fast their testimony about Jesus.

Revelations 12:13-17

The Flight

The dream depicts the dragon and monsters fleeing the fiery rain which we have established is Gods judgment. This will be due to its severity. The bible also mentions that the inhabitants of the world will attempt to seek refuge from judgments that will befall the earth in bunkers, many of which are usually constructed deep inside mountains!

Then the kings of the earth, the princes, the generals, the rich, the mighty, and everyone else, both slave and free, hid in caves and among the rocks of the mountains.  They called to the mountains and the rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb! For the great day of their wrath has come, and who can withstand it?”

Revelations 6:15-17

The Warning

In the dream, I was pointing to what was happening while warning my sisters with urgency that the end had come! God is telling us to warn our family and friends with the greatest sense of urgency as time is running out for those who don’t know Christ.

My knuckles got burnt even when the action seemed to be far away from where we were because we tend to think that God judgments and the end times are far off, yet as the dream points out they have started! We are already feeling the effects!

For God does speak—now one way, now another—though no one perceives it. In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they slumber in their beds, he may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings, to turn them from wrongdoing and keep them from pride, to preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword

Job 33:14-18
