My dreams about coming economic collapse

About 2 weeks ago I had a dream in which I was standing before Queen Elizabeth. She was holding what looked like a glass jar that was closed but had some contents in it. I looked at her as she kept on shaking the jar ferociously. She kept muttering in fear and with apprehension on her face, “The world is shaking, the world is shaking, the world is shaking!” I watched her as she looked at something like those stock exchange screens with graphs showing the financial markets. The graphs kept on raising and plummeting at a very fast pace.
Also on the 5th of May, I had a dream in which there was a lack of almost everything. People seemed to have money but the supply for everything was very limited. I went to buy a car and I was told that there were no parts for that car and so they couldn’t make them anymore. The ones that were available were very expensive and very limited in number as well.
I then had another dream on the same night where I went to the grocery store and there were long queues of people who were waiting to buy stuff from the store. I had to pretend to be sick to beat the queue and people were quarrelling because they had been in the queue for so long. When it came to my turn to ask the attendant for the meat I wanted to buy, he could only give me one pack. He said they had ran out of stock yet many people were still waiting in line. On my way home, I passed a shoe stall to get some shoes. I had passed that stall before and it had many shoes. This time, it had very few shoes. The stall was literally empty. I was told the stock was running out. People had money but there was not enough supply of what was needed, even the basics like food!
Interpretation
I believe that as Christians we are being shown a glimpse of the tough times ahead of us especially concerning the world economy. There will be a shaking or a collapse of some sort that will baffle even the most intelligent. Let’s keep our eyes fixed on Jesus for He alone is our rock of salvation. Let’s not be dismayed at the things at hand for these things have been foretold so that we will prepare ourselves in advance for the glory of the Lord.
The earth reels like a drunkard, it sways like a hut in the wind; so heavy upon it is the guilt of its rebellion that it falls—never to rise again.
Isaiah 24:20
One of the dreams has had a partial fulfillment this week! Toyota has cut production by almost half because of chip shortages!

Today, I also had a dream about Economic Apocalypse. But mine is different, there is no stock shortages, stock graphs, and anything like that.
What I dreamt was, that money losing its value completely somehow. Because of this, everybody has to do a barter to get goods.
So I told my parents that, at the end of the day, we’ll run out of things to barter for!
Then, I came with an idea for my family, I suggesting them to steal some stuffs, because there is no way out.
Then, all of a sudden, everybody, all the citizen went to the streets and do violent acts, like burning something, and destroying properties.
This is probably the most frightening and realistic dream I ever dreamnt of.
After I’m waking up, I think about my dream interpretation. And I think I know why I dream about something like this.
It’s because I, currently, seeking financial gain and financial stability. I’m also currenlty looking for a job too (I’m 21).
So, I come up with this conclusion.
Maybe my dream, reminding me that money isn’t everything. Because in my waking life, I’m pursuing it too much.
But I don’t know if this dream also means the future Economic Apocalypse (God, please no!).
Anyway, the reason why I found this page because I try to find the meaning of my dream on Google. This page is lovely by the way 🙂
Thank you, Bagus
Thanks for sharing your dream. Perhaps it is a warning about a bad economy in the near future.
There is nothing wrong with looking for job. we are supposed to work.
2 Thess 3:10 says “For even when we were with you, this we commanded you: that if any would not work, neither should he eat.”
All the best in your job search
