My dream about Jesus coming with a sword

On the 24th of February, I had a dream. There was confusion, unrest and war on the earth. I could feel the terror and panic of those around me. Suddenly I saw Jesus descending from the sky. He was dressed like a Roman centurion and he had a sword. Deep within me I knew the rapture had come and that it was my way out of the terror on the earth. Thing is, I wasn’t sure if I was ready, like how the bible describes the bride of Christ. I looked up expectantly and already I could see that some of the faithful starting to ascend toward heaven.

Interpretation

I had this dream on the same day the War in Ukraine was started. Jesus warned us that wars and rumor’s of wars were signs of his coming (Matt 24:6-8). Jesus is coming back to rapture the church and judge the world for sin. We need to be ready and also warn others so that they are ready for his coming.

 I saw heaven standing open and there before me was a white horse, whose rider is called Faithful and True. With justice he judges and wages war. His eyes are like blazing fire, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but he himself. He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. The armies of heaven were following him, riding on white horses and dressed in fine linen, white and clean. Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter. Revelations 19:11-16

For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever. Therefore encourage one another with these words.

1 Thessalonians 4:16-18

The word of the Lord came to me:  “Son of man, speak to your people and say to them: ‘When I bring the sword against a land, and the people of the land choose one of their men and make him their watchman,  and he sees the sword coming against the land and blows the trumpet to warn the people, then if anyone hears the trumpet but does not heed the warning and the sword comes and takes their life, their blood will be on their own head.  Since they heard the sound of the trumpet but did not heed the warning, their blood will be on their own head. If they had heeded the warning, they would have saved themselves. But if the watchman sees the sword coming and does not blow the trumpet to warn the people and the sword comes and takes someone’s life, that person’s life will be taken because of their sin, but I will hold the watchman accountable for their blood.’
