sign

An occurrence that warns of an upcoming or ongoing event of significance as predicted by the bible. The Hebrew word for sign is “owth” which means “omen”. An example is the “star of Bethlehem” that signaled  Jesus’ birth as recorded in Matthew 2:1-2.
