The “Bethlehem Star” heralds the return of the Messiah?

Two weeks ago on 13th November, there was  Jupiter-Venus conjunction where the planets appeared close together from earth. This conjunction happened in Virgo, the same constellation where the revelation 12 sign occurred on September 23rd 2017.

Interestingly, it is thought by some that this could have been the way the Star of Bethlehem that signaled the birth of the Messiah manifested in 3BC. At that time, the conjunction happened in Leo.

As the conjunction was occurring on November 13th, there was an earthquake in Iran and Iraq killing more than 400 and injuring more than 7000 people according to the BBC. According to the same site, this has been the worst earthquake in 2017 so far. When Jesus was talking about the signs that would herald his return, he said in Luke 21:10-11,

“Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom.  There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various places, and fearful events and great signs from heaven. (NIV)

The bible in 2 Cor 13:1 also says

……..“Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.” (NIV)

We may have witnessed the earth confirming the sign in the heavens, that Jesus our Messiah is coming soon. We should also  pray for all those affected by this catastrophe, and offer them support if we have the means to.
