Coronavirus pandemic mirrors endtime prophecy

The Coronavirus pandemic has been a peculiar one indeed. The disease sometimes causes unusual symptoms like blood clots and stroke along with long term effects like fatigue and breathlessness. The pandemic has also manifested prophetic patterns linking it to judgment, the number 666 and the first horseman of the apocalypse in the book of Revelation as has been posted previously. God has used the disease in different ways to try and send a message, one of repentance and the nearness of the coming of the Lord Jesus that will lead to the end of sin. Well, the patterns don’t seem to be stopping and i would like to share more that God has revealed.

Firstly, as already mentioned, the name Corona has a numerical connection to the number 666. When you get the number of the position of each letter in the alphabet for the letters that form the word Corona and add them, you get a total of 66. There are 6 letters in the word Corona. This makes the number 666, the number of the beast described in Revelation 13:15-18!

The connection with 666 goes even further. In order to block access to buildings and public facilities to people who possibly had the virus, temperature checks were introduced at entrances using hand held or fixed infrared thermometers to check temperature at either the foreheads or hands of people. This parallels the denial to the financial system that will be implemented against anyone who will not have the mark of the beast on the right hand of the forehead!

The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name.This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.

Revelation 13:15-18

In addition to this, the current pandemic may lead to the rise of the antichrist through the need for the world to unite to more effectively fight the current and future disease outbreaks. Efforts to quickly manufacture any of the vaccines already or about to be approved on a large scale for the world population will certainly require international cooperation. Also efforts to contain the virus have led to the implementation of technologies that may be used or built upon by the antichrist later on to enforce the prophesied “mark of the beast” associated with the number 666.

Several countries and companies released contact tracing mobile phone upgrades and apps that enabled someone to know if they had recently come in to contact with an infected individual within the last 14 days, the incubation period for COVID19. These apps rely on Bluetooth on participants phones being active and the infected individual alerting the app after a positive result from a COVID19 test. The app would then send a notification to all the individuals that had been near the infected person within the last 14 days so that they could self isolate. This parallels the tracking and surveillance systems that would be required to enforce the mark of the beast. These apps ride on mobile phone technology which by itself already actively tracks our locations and can easily be used for surveillance on people.

When the outbreak started, scientists advised that we needed to exercise good personal hygiene to limit the spread of the disease through contact by either sanitizing or washing our hands regularly with soap and water. This mirrors Christ cleansing the church to prepare her for his return using his word to sanitize us. Ephesians 5:25-27 says,

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her to sanctify her, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, and to present her to Himself as a glorious church, without stain or wrinkle or any such blemish, but holy and blameless.

As the pandemic progressed, we were also advised to practice social distancing to limit our exposure to saliva or mucus droplets from possibly infected individuals when they coughed, sneezed, talked or sang. This paralleled what God said about having to live lives that are holy and separate from the filthy ways of the world. 2 Corinthians 6: 16-17 says,

What agreement can exist between the temple of God and idols? For we are the temple of the living God. As God has said: “I will dwell with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be My people.” “Therefore come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord. Touch no unclean thing, and I will receive you.”

Finally, the national lockdowns many of us have been subjected to by our governments to force us to social distance by keeping us in our homes to slow down the virus spread parallels Jesus taking his church and hiding her in heaven through an event called the rapture. By doing this he will keep her from the judgments that would subsequently come to the earth during the tribulation!

Go, my people, enter your rooms and shut the doors behind you; hide yourselves for a little while until his wrath has passed by. See, the Lord is coming out of his dwelling to punish the people of the earth for their sins.

Isaiah 26:20-21

These seven parallels to end time prophecy are not coincidence but confirmation that God is using the pandemic to tell the church and the world that the end times are here and we need to repent and be ready to meet Jesus, who will come to reward those who he will find faithfully serving him and judge those he will find walking in rebellion.

When your judgments come upon the earth, the people of the world learn righteousness.
