Israel election turmoil would precede Messiah, says Rabbi 40 years ago!

On the 11th of June, an article was published by the Breaking Israel News website that caught my attention. According to the site, Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri predicted that (Israeli) elections resulting in no government would precede the coming of the Messiah. This was astounding considering that the last article on this blog a few days prior was exactly about this very same issue based on another prophecy made several years ago.

In 2008, Wendy Alec, one of the co-founders of God TV prophesied that the time of the end would begin after Prime Minister Netanyahu’s third consecutive term in office. The PM’s third consecutive term was supposed to have ended after the establishment of a new government during the months of April and May this year. Despite having won the election on April 9th, PM Netanyahu was not able to acquire the required 61 seats in the Knesset (Parliament) in order to be able to form a government. This had never happened until then in Israels modern history. This then triggered new elections for 17th September effectively extending the PM’s third consecutive term. The apparent implication based on the Wendy Alec prophecy was that God had postponed the start of the end to later on this year.

One may wonder why we would consider a similar prediction from an Orthodox Jewish Rabbi, who was also considered the most prominent Kabbalist of our time. Well, let me explain.

Rabbi Kaduri’s Messiah note

A few months before his death, Rabbi Kaduri claimed that he had met the Messiah in a vision and that he would appear soon. He also supposedly wrote a cryptic note that he instructed to be opened one year after his death. The note was to reveal the identity of the Messiah. When the note was opened as instructed, the decoded message was shocking.

Rabbi Kaduri note that was posted on his website Kaduri.net according to the Israel Today website in 2007. The Hebrew sentence with the hidden name of the Messiah read: Yarim Ha’Am Veyokhiakh Shedvaro Vetorato Omdim. Source: wikipedia.org

The English translation of what the note said is,

Concerning the letter abbreviation of the Messiah’s name, He will lift the people and prove that his word and law are valid.
This I have signed in the month of mercy,
Yitzhak Kaduri

The Rabbi described the Messiah using six words and hinted that the initial letters form the name of the Messiah. The initial letters of the six words put together spelt the Hebrew name of Jesus, Yehoshua! Yehoshua and Yeshua are effectively the same name, derived from the same Hebrew root of the word “salvation” .

This was particularly shocking because Ultra Orthodox Jews don’t believe that Jesus was the Messiah. In fact, they despise the name of Jesus and Christianity in general. When a Jew accepts Jesus as Lord and Saviour, he or she is no longer considered to be Jewish and is often persecuted. They also use derogatory names for Jesus, like Yeshu which which is the Hebrew acronym for “yemach shemo vezichro” which means ” May his name and memory be obliterated!”

The note was therefore called a forgery and apparently destroyed. The Jewish websites that originally posted this information took down those pages in what seemed to be a coverup. All this has been well documented by Carl Gallups in his books “The Rabbi who found Messiah” and “The Rabbi, The Secret Message and The Identity of Messiah” which i highly recommend you read.

Rabbi Kaduri’s prophecy about no government after Israeli elections

It is not yet very clear, at least to me when this Rabbi started to realize that Yeshua was the Messiah. As a result, some of the prophecies he made especially in the latter years of his life are hard to disregard because of two reasons.

  1. Though some of his prophecies do not make sense to a none Jewish mind, others seem to correspond to significant events and timings of the end which we have been watching for.
  2. Revelations 19:10 says that, “The testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy”. Since the Rabbi’s final confession was that Jesus was the Messiah, one has to look back to his prophecies and re-evaluate them in light of what seemed to be God working in this mans life to make himself known to his people, the Jews.

It is based on this background that the Breaking Israel News article on June 11th had significance, at least to me. Rabbi Eliyahu Merav who forty years ago was a young man, frequented the court of Rabbi Yitzhak Kaduri in search of God. One day Rabbi Kaduri was taking questions when someone asked him when the Messiah would come and what signs would precede his arrival. (This is the same question question the disciples asked Jesus in Matthew 24 and Luke 21!) The Rabbi responded by saying,

When there will be elections but there will be no government.

Rabbi Eliyahu admitted that this statement seemed contradictory at the time but he has now realized that what happened on Israels political scene a few weeks ago where a government was not formed after an election is precisely what the Rabbi was talking about!

Birth pangs confirming that the end is near?

In response to the same question that was asked to Rabbi Kaduri about the coming of Messiah and the signs of his return, Jesus said,

Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and will deceive many. You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains.

Matthew 24:4-8

In fulfillment of this scripture, we have seen tensions rise to epic levels in the Middle East between the United States and Iran. There were rumours earlier in the week of possible tactical strikes by the US on Iranian facilities. This was to be in response to recent attacks on oil tankers in the strait of Hormuz allegedly carried out by Iran and increased uranium enrichment that Iran also announced recently.

In an apparent act of defiance, Iran again shot down a US Navy drone on the 20th. In retaliation, the Trump administration prepared for a military response that was to be executed on the early hours of the 21st. Just when the US military assets were in position and ready to attack, the US President stood them down. This is what the US President tweeted about this close call,

Iran is a major player in end times bible prophecy as revealed in Ezekiel 38 and 39. The significance of the events in the last few days cannot therefore be overstated!

Conclusion

This convergence of events, and prophecies by two very different individuals is by no means a coincidence but a confirmation that the tribulation may be starting soon.

The King is coming!

“Every matter must be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses.”

2 Corinthians 13:1
