Facebook’s Libra, the end times global currency

About two weeks ago, Facebook confirmed the rumours that had been circulating about its involvement in the development of a cryptocurrency. The social media giant announced the launch of a new cryptocurrency called Libra that it and other partners intend to launch in the first half of 2020. It had initially been reported by the BBC several weeks ago that the cryptocurrency would be called GlobalCoin and i had subsequently made a post about this showing how this and other surrounding technologies were preparing the world for the mark of the beast prophesied in the bible.

The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed. It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.

What is Libra?

According to the Libra whitepaper, Libra’s mission is to enable a simple global currency and financial infrastructure that empowers billions of people. Libra will be a digital currency that will be based on blockchain technology, which means that a record of every transaction made will be maintained across several computers around the world that will be interlinked. It will be backed by a reserve of assets and will be governed by the Libra Association.

The Association’s founding members include well known brands like Mastercard, PayPal, Visa, eBay, Facebook/Calibra, Spotify, Uber, Vodafone Group and Coinbase. Facebook played a leading role in the creation of Libra and will continue to do so until its launch in 2020. However, in order to create separation between the social and financial data, Facebook created a subsidiary called Calibra which will build and operate services on its behalf on the Libra network.

The Association is based in Geneva Switzerland and its purpose is to govern the Libra network and Reserve. Since the use of a cryptocurrency like Libra does not require the possession of a bank account, this new cryptocurrency will give everyone easy access to financial services (financial inclusion).

Financial inclusion fulfills bible prophecy

One of the roles of the Libra Association will therefore be to provide grants in support of financial inclusion. This element of financial inclusion also emphasized in Libra’s mission is predicted in Revelations 13:16 and 17 which says,

It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark

Hidden messages confirming agenda of global financial control?

The secret societies and spiritual forces of darkness that influence the world and are actively preparing the way for the antichrist like to encode their intentions using subliminal messages in different ways to show their plans.

In 1988, the Economist magazine had a cover that did this in an interesting way. The cover featured a global currency that the magazine called the Phoenix.

The Phoenix, a mythical bird was shown rising from paper currency that was burning. The Phoenix had a Coin fastened around its neck. The Coin had the year 2018 engraved on it, because the magazine predicted the rise of this currency to be that year. Some saw this as a prediction of Bitcoin which became popular in 2018 sparking interest in other cryptocurrencies. The Libra cryptocurrency seems to have fulfilled the vision presented by the Economist magazine over 30 years ago in stunning detail! Its has done so in the following ways:

1. The Economist cover had a caption that read, “Get ready for a world currency” as it presented a hypothetical one it called the Phoenix. The Libra cryptocurrency has also been called a global currency by its creators.
2. The Phoenix was presented as a Coin on the Economist cover. The Libra like other cryptocurrencies has a unit of measure also called a Coin! (Bitcoin, Libra coin, Lite coin, Etherium coin etc)
3. The Economist magazine depicted the Phoenix rising in 2018. In December of 2017, Bitcoins value hit its current record high of $19,783.21 per Bitcoin. This caught many peoples attention and sparked great interest in cryptocurrencies in 2018.
4. The Phoenix was shown rising from burning paper currency. Transactions using cryptocurrencies do not require the possession of accounts to operate as they enable direct exchange between buyer and seller cutting out middle men like banks. This would be disruptive to the current financial system mainly based on paper currency, potentially destroying or changing it from its current state forever. However, this disruption may not be sufficient as there would be push back from traditional financial institutions and governments. Others like myself believe that in order for the new financial system controlled by the antichrist to be fully established, our current one needs to be dismantled through some kind of financial crash or even a world war.

Other subtle hints of hidden agenda?

In Revelations 12, the bible talks about a war in heaven between Satan and his rebel angels and Michael and his angels. In this battle, Satan and his angels are overpowered and thrown out of heaven and are cast down to the earth. The bible seems to hint that 1/3 or 33.3333….% of the angels fall with Satan.

Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads.  Its tail swept a third of the stars out of the sky and flung them to the earth.

Revelation 12:3-4

Libra transactions will be validated by computers (validator nodes) around the world controlled by members of the Libra Association. Libra has been designed in a way that still enables transactions to take place even if 1/3 or 33.3333….% of the validator nodes fail or are compromised (the fall?).

The bible also says that the number of the beasts name that will be linked to the global financial system at the time of the prophecies fulfillment will be 666. The Libra Association is governed by a Council in which major policy or technical decisions require consent of 2/3 or 66.6666…% of the votes! Again, we see a number associated with Satan and the antichrist encoded in the working of the currency.

The Tribulation is about to start!

When we see things that the bible foretold about the end times falling into place, it should cause us to grow in faith because Gods word is proving to be true! These things should also cause us to sober up and not to take the time we have left for granted. Now that you have this information, pray to God how you can use it to help others see that Jesus is coming soon and that we need to be ready!

Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober. For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, get drunk at night. But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.
