Why this months Blood Moon is a Sign

When is the Blood Moon and where will it be seen?

If you have been following this blog for a while, you know that we track events and celestial occurrences that seem to have patterns that are more than coincidence and therefore are prophetic in nature. Western thought has trained us to think of prophecy as predictions; however in eastern thought prophecy is linked to patterns. The bible is therefore a prophetic book because of the patterns God has hidden in it. This is important to consider because on the 27^th of July, we will witness the longest blood moon of the century, and this would be insignificant if not viewed in light of a pattern surrounding this event. So let’s start with the basics and build up to the possible prophetic implications of this event.

A blood moon is a lunar eclipse. This occurs when the earth comes between the sun and the moon, casting its shadow on the moon. Only the light reflected off the earth is visible on the moon’s surface, producing a red-brown tint during totality hence its dramatic name of a “blood moon”.

This particular blood moon will be visible from Africa, the Middle East and countries in central Asia. The time of total moon eclipse will start at 22:30 EAT on July 27th, according to timeanddate.com. The total eclipse will last up to 00:13 EAT on the 28th. There will also be some time before and after when the moon is in the lighter part of Earth’s shadow, which is called the penumbra. Including that penumbral time, the eclipse will last for 6 hours and 14 minutes. This will make it the longest eclipse in this century.

What makes an eclipse significant?

Solar and lunar eclipses occur fairly often but those that have a relationship with significant days on the Jewish calendar seem to be used by God to signal prophetic events. A good example is the blood moon that occurred during the birth of current United States President Donald Trump. Donald Trump was born on June 14th, 1946 at 10:54 am in New York. Shortly afterwards, as the sun was setting in Jerusalem, a lunar eclipse started to occur as the moon rose over the city with a blood red tint. Seeing how Trump has been a blessing to Israel, this particular blood moon was pointing to his significance in relation to Israel. So was there a relationship between Trumps birth and an important day on Israels calendar? Yes there was!

Donald Trump was born exactly 700 days before Israels declaration of independence on 14th May, 1948. This also means that 777 days after Trump’s birth, Israel was exactly 77 days old! And just to re-enforce that all this was not just some random occurrence, God made sure that Trump was sworn in as United States President on the 20th of January, 2017. Therefore on his first full day in office he became 70 years, 7 months and 7 days old at 10:54am, and it happened in year 5777 on the Hebrew calendar! This pattern of 7’s and significant days on Israels calendar linked to Trumps  life doesn’t end there and is documented in a previous article. However the first event in that pattern was a blood moon.

Is there also a pattern linking the coming blood moon to the Jewish calendar that should catch our attention and therefore make us alert to what may transpire there after? The answer is a resounding yes! Lets wind the clock back and look at two past dates that have clear connections with this coming blood moon.

First set of events

Date: November 30th, 2017

Sign: Longest lasting rainbow recorded in modern history occurs in Taiwan. The rainbow in Genesis 9: 12-17 was a sign of God’s mercy towards mankind, promising never again to flood the earth. The Taiwan rainbow happened the day after the 70th anniversary of the United Nations resolution that led to the creation of Israel.

Second set of events

Date: March 30th, 2018 (which was the date for both Easter and Passover this year)

Sign: A 3.3 magnitude earthquake on the Richter scale occurred in Egypt on the 30th of March (30/3). This was the first day of the Easter holiday which commemorates the 3 days that Christ was dead. Matthew 27:46 says that he died at around 3pm. Jesus rose on the 3rd day. Also in John 21, Peter denied Jesus 3 times. Amazingly the Unites States Geological Survey website also indicated that the earthquake’s epicenter was 33km from a town in Egypt called Helwan. (Notice the multiple times the number 3 shows up associated with this particular earthquake and Jesus’ crucifixion!) Christs crucifixion was God’s way of giving us the opportunity to experience his mercy and have peace with him.

Third set of events

Date: July 27th-28th, 2018

Sign: Longest lasting blood moon of the century is set to occur on these days. This is also the anniversary of the Korean Armistice Agreement, which ended the war between North and South Korea. It was signed on July 27, 1953, and was designed to ensure a complete cessation of hostilities and of all acts of armed force in Korea until a final peaceful settlement is achieved.

So in summary, we have the longest lasting rainbow in recorded history occur 120 days before Passover and the longest lasting blood moon of the century occurring 120 days after Passover. All three events (the rainbow, Passover and the blood moon) have a theme of Peace associated with them. The rainbow reminds us of  Gods mercy towards man, Passover commemorates Jesus’ death on the cross that brought about Peace between God and Man and the blood moon occurs on a date that celebrates an agreement that brought Peace on the Korean Peninsular. This is a clear pattern relating the three signs on these three different dates. That’s not all, there is a twist to all of this.

Subliminal message from Hollywood confirming significance of the Blood Moon?

It is a well established fact that many media productions have subliminal messages hidden in them partly because the writers of these productions are inspired by spirits. I recently watched the trailer for the upcoming  Mission Impossible Fallout movie and immediately noticed that there seems to be one such message in the first few seconds. I didn’t know what to make of it until God helped me realize that its international release date is also on the 27th of July! (See movie trailer below which is approximately two and a half minute long)

In the scene that has the message we see Solomon Lane (Sean Harris) apparently telling Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) the following statement;

There cannot be peace without first a great suffering. The greater the suffering, the greater the peace. The end you have always feared is coming, sigh, its coming…..and the blood will be on your hands.

Several things stand out in this statement that should catch our attention as they are biblical:

1. In Matthew 24:21, Jesus also talks about a time of great suffering coming upon the earth which would be so intense that if its days were not be cut short, no one would survive.
2.  Jesus will rule for 1000  years after the great tribulation which will be a period of unprecedented peace that the world has never experienced. Isaiah 2:4 says the following about this period,
   

   He will judge between the nations and will settle disputes for many peoples. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore.

3. There is also a warning in the bible from God that if a person does not heed the warning of those who speak on his behalf about coming judgment, their blood would be on their own head. However if those appointed by God to warn do not speak and the people he/she was supposed to warn perish, those peoples blood would be on the watchman’s hands. Ezekiel 33:1-6

So the warning given by Solomon Lane in the preview to a movie that’s supposed to be released during the blood moon is basically a summary of these scriptures which emphasize the significance of the sign. It feels like he is mocking most of the Christians who are supposed to be playing the role of watchmen who won’t  see the meaning of what would be transpiring in the heavens on the night of the movie release, and he even says that they would be held accountable!

Jesus is coming back sooner than most expect and I hope that this information has been able to demonstrate this to you. Many warnings have been given. I pray we all  respond to them and prepare for the return of our Master.

“Be careful, or your hearts will be weighed down with carousing, drunkenness and the anxieties of life, and that day will close on you suddenly like a trap.  For it will come on all those who live on the face of the whole earth. Be always on the watch, and pray that you may be able to escape all that is about to happen, and that you may be able to stand before the Son of Man.” Luke 21:34-36
