Dream about Stars reveals instructions to the Church

Pleiades constellation also known as the Seven sisters.

On the morning of 1st September, I had a dream where I was in a big room that seemed to be a school dormitory. We were all engaged in different activities but were generally relaxing. A girl then came into the room and she said,

“you guys come quickly and see the stars. It is amazing! You need to see the order in which they are aligned!”

She knew the stars by name but I do not remember the names she used. I ran out of the room and I kept thinking to myself that this was something very important. When I got outside I looked up and I saw a set of four stars in one line, then slightly below them, there was another set of stars. The second set had three stars and these were also in a straight line, giving a total of seven stars. The stars were so big and clearly visible. They shone so bright!

No one else left the room, they all went on with whatever they were doing, like they did not hear what the girl had said. As I was looking up at the stars, I kept saying,

“JESUS IS COMING! JESUS IS COMING! JESUS IS COMING!….’’

End of dream

When I woke up, I was filled with regret that I had not gone back to the dormitory to explain to my friends what I had seen in he sky. I believe this was the spirit of God telling me to be more conscious about others, and to tell them that we are living in the last days.

I also remembered a recent eclipse that happened here in Kampala where the moon turned deep red, but this was visible for only two minutes and then it got cloudy and the moon was covered. This made sad as I felt it should have been more visible so that people would see that sign.

Interpretation

The following is the interpretation offered by my husband Jason about the meaning of certain elements of the dream.

In the dream, there were seven stars in the sky. When Jesus appeared to John in the book of Revelation chapter one, he had seven stars in his right hand which represented the seven angels of seven churches, each of which Christ had a message for (Rev 1:20).

Just like there was a set of four stars in one line and another of three stars also in a line, chapter two of Revelation has the messages for four of the churches and the next chapter has the messages for the another three.

Christ’s message to each of the seven churches contained instructions for how to prepare for his return. It feels like these are what he was also telling us today through the dream.

1. Instruction to Church in Ephesus

“You have forsaken the love you had at first. Consider how far you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first.” (Rev 2:4). Jesus was telling those who have lost their zeal for him to return to being zealous.

2. Instruction to Church in Smyrna

Jesus encouraged those who are suffering for him to “be faithful, even to the point of death.” (Rev 2:10)

3. Instruction to Church in Pergamum

“…I have a few things against you: There are some among you who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the Israelites to sin so that they ate food sacrificed to idols and committed sexual immorality. Likewise, you also have those who hold to the teaching of the Nicolaitans. Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth. “(Rev 2: 14-16). Jesus was warning those following false teachers to turn away from them or they would face severe judgment from him. False teachings lead to one having a sinful lifestyle.

4. Instruction to Church in Thyatira

“You tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophet. By her teaching she misleads my servants into sexual immorality and the eating of food sacrificed to idols. I have given her time to repent of her immorality, but she is unwilling. So I will cast her on a bed of suffering, and I will make those who commit adultery with her suffer intensely, unless they repent of her ways. I will strike her children dead….” (Rev 2:20-22). Jesus was warning about severe consequences of following false prophets. These prophets are usually unwilling to turn away from misleading others and they tend to have a spirit of manipulation (Jezebel spirit). The implication in this verse is that these prophets and their followers may be left behind at the rapture if they don’t repent. They would then have to go through the great time of suffering that follows during the reign of the antichrist.

5. Instruction to Church in Sardis

“Wake up! Strengthen what remains and is about to die, for I have found your deeds unfinished in the sight of my God. Remember, therefore, what you have received and heard; hold it fast, and repent. But if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what time I will come to you.” (Rev 3: 2-3). Jesus was warning about spiritual laziness which makes us ineffective and blind. Such people are in danger of being caught off guard by Jesus’ coming.

6. Instruction to Church in Philadelphia

To the faithful, Jesus said “Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown.” (Rev 3:7). The implication here is that there is a possibility of losing rewards one has in heaven for the things they have done in service to the Lord here on earth if they cease being faithful to him.

7. Instruction to Church in Laodicea

“I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing.’ But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind and naked. I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see.” (Rev 3:15-18). Jesus was warning halfhearted and passive  Christians to get out of this state. This is usually fueled by pride which is dangerous because it makes one blind and therefore rebellious towards Christ’s directions. Such people are putting themselves in danger of being rejected by God, because he resists the proud.

Conclusion

Just like in the dream, many are ignoring the signs and warnings being sent. They do not take time to hear and act on Jesus’ call through the signs to prepare themselves. Even this post will not be taken serious by everyone who reads it but that should not stop us from sharing with others what Jesus is saying and praying for them.
